Vegan Podcasts you Should Listen to Right Now

By: Alia Savage

Vegan-centered podcasts have been a godsend for me. As the only person in my family who follows a plant-based diet, podcasts have helped me form a sense of community with other vegans and learn from their personal journeys. Here are four vegan podcasts that you should listen to right now!

Eat For The Planet
If you need help convincing the people in your life that veganism is worth the sacrifice, you should recommend them Eat For The Planet. Hosted by author Nil Zacharias, Eat For The Plant is a platform for chefs, dietary experts, and other entrepreneurs to discuss the environmental impact of the meat industry, in addition to highlighting notable strides within the meat-free movement.

Vegan Danielle
Vegan Danielle is a one-stop-shop for all things vegan. Topics range from vegan meal prep to beauty and fitness. Danielle also regularly invites her vegan friends and colleagues onto the show, so it’s not limited to her perspective only.

Plant Proof
Plant Proof is another great resource for understanding how veganism positively impacts our personal health. Hosted by Simon, a guy with a Bachelor’s degree in Physiotherapy, Plant Proof provides medically and scientifically backed arguments that favor a meat-free lifestyle.

Vegan Warrior Princess Attack
With a name like Vegan Warrior Princess Attack, you can imagine that the hosts are, if nothing else, passionate and creative. But that’s only scratching the surface. VWPA is hosted by friends Callie and Nicole, whose vegan stance intersect with their feminist and social views. As such, you’ll find much more than you average “eat this, not that” approach to veganism.

These are just a few of my favorite vegan podcasts of the moment. Hopefully, you’ll love them as much as I do. But if you don’t, there are hundreds, maybe thousands, of podcasts out, so you’re sure to find something that fits!
